Waynedale Elementary Kindergarten

Congratulations to the hard-working students in Ms. Winebrenner’s class at Waynedale Elementary School!  With the help of their Study Connection volunteer, Angela Hudson, they wrote and illustrated their very own book.  Entitled Kindergarten A to Z, its purpose is to help in-coming kindergarten students know the ins-and-outs of being a kindergartener.

To celebrate their accomplishment, they held a party at the Main Library, complete with a behind-the-scenes tour of the library and, of course, cake!  In addition to the school’s library, each location of the Allen County Public Library will be receiving a copy of the book for its collection, so even more people will be able to enjoy this wonderful collaboration.

To learn more, watch 21Alive/NBC33’s newscast of the event.
