Hanukkah

Hanukkah, the Jewish festival of lights, began this year on the evening of Dec. 8 and ends the evening of Dec. 16.

For a light-hearted look at Hanukkah, check out The Latke Who Couldn’t Stop Screaming: a Christmas story by Lemony Snicket.  The  latke tries to explain the holiday he is a part of to several Christmas symbols, with hilarious results.  (Spoiler alert: he is eaten in the end.)
